36 BTrd House Staircase Interior Design
Hi guys, in this time I would like to review about a modern house design. It is not easy to gathering such an information about this house, but finally I made it. This is a three storey home design which is built in modern concept. For more information see below!
Completed designed by the DP Architects, this modern home design which called the 36 BTrd Home was built located in 36 Boon Teck Road, Singapore 329 605. The site are for this three storey living space is covers for about 137.3 square meters, while the building area is for about 284.97 square meters.
By the architect and their client, this typical three storeys plus roof terrace inter-terrace residential unit aims to demonstrate a New Sustainable Residential Typology for the Landed Houses acclimatized to the Tropical Climate of the Singapore. The architecture is driven by the principles of passive design and energy efficient systems are then supplemented to achieve ideal indoor environmental qualities (thermal and light qualities) if required.
Based on my opinion, the passive design for the Thermal Comfort and the Day lighting Given the site orientation of this terrace is fixed at the NW-SE frontage orientation, shelf shading using the upper floor, balcony, shading devices, and the landscaping are used to mitigate the interior heat gain.
Of this living space, the innovative external thermal plaster and the high solar reflectance the index external finishes is also used to further insulate against the heat gain on the critical envelops. Building planning and fenestration design is designed to encourage natural ventilation and cross ventilation. Due to the heated Photovoltaic skylight roof, a central stairwell has enhanced stack effect of a traditional air well. This achievement is allowing more draft within the living space. The internal walls are predominantly full height sliding panels to harness the airflow.
In this modern home building, natural ventilation is also planned for in the scenario of monsoon seasons, tackling water penetration. Bedroom doors are detailed with sliding ventilation panels for cross-ventilation. Day lighting is uniformly distributed throughout the elongated terrace typology with central sky lighting.
Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency is used to push the limits of a self-sustaining residence, allocated photovoltaic panels generate the Hybrid DC air-conditioner. To power a DC hot water heater for a zero to low energy system, the solar thermal collectors are also installed. Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) panels clad entire roof. An innovative BIPV and ceiling composite design integrates ventilation slots, water, and heat and noise insulation so that the BIPV ceiling composite roof replaces the need for the conventional roof. PV external landscape lighting is also installed. And to achieve a zero to low energy residence, all artificial lights are energy efficient LEDs. To further promote a green lifestyle, a solar charging unit integrated with the external metering compartment has been fitted for charging of electronics and solar bicycle. What a technology!
The environmental Quality through Landscaping Within the constraint of small outdoor areas, trees and vertical climbers are planted at strategic location for shading of building envelops. In addition, a vertical green wall clad the back boundary wall facing the patio. This also helps to increase the Green Plot Ratio at the same time. This increase in greenery to the residence provides a perceived lower in ambient temperature for indoor comfort and occupant enjoyment. To reduce requirements on potable water, the roof has been designed such that rainwater fallen on site is also naturally channeled to landscape planter areas as irrigation.
Well maybe this house is the solution design in this century, it can safe more energy consumption in your daily life. Have you got the idea yet to build your own living space? Ok guys, I think it’s up, thanks for visiting this web. Have a nice day then!
