This office building is used a cheap material for the decoration of the furniture. Although the building uses the cheap materials, it is looked without cheap appearance, its elegance. Great idea from the architect! The designer used the lacquered OSB boards for the flooring and the furniture. The desk of this office is made from the OSB. The desk itself is covered with an artificial leather to make the sketching and drawing more comfortable. The lighting is produced out of the standard profiles which are used for gypsum-cardboard wall systems and the fluorescent. The OSB of the office furniture is brings more intimate atmosphere and hides all the cabling and the recycle bins.
OSB itself is also known as Oriented Strand Board, wafer board, sterling board or exterior board (UK) and smart-ply (UK and Ireland). OSB is an engineered wood product which is formed by layering strands (flakes) of wood in the specific orientation. In the appearance itself, it may have a rough and variegated surface with the individual strips (around 2.5 by 15 cm (approx. 1 in by 6 in) each) lying unevenly across each other.
