The project which called The Abstract White Apartment is designed by Filipe Borges de Macedo architect. This apartment project is located in Lisbon, Portugal. Which spend the budget for about 79,000 €, this apartment construction is covers an area approximately 220 square meters.
Actually the original space of this building is lacked in quality, but the direct access from the main street level to the second floor together with its balcony magnificent views is revealed the apartment’s exceptional character. Which is adapting the existing to acquire a modern character, embracing the light and views of the Tagus and it is creating an abstract interior where the goals.
This building is very functionally, it because the architect is changed the location of the kitchen to the back of the balcony and it is open to the Tagus. A piece of the furniture which is houses two sliding doors is separating between the room and the kitchen. The n the kitchen itself is forms a fluid space in conjunction with the room, so it can gets the full extent of the street facade in a single plan. The interior itself is punctuated by the four bays to the balcony running the Tagus. This building is also reformulating the corridor, by the architect, the bathrooms and the articulation of the rooms is achieved to clarify the interior organization. The continuity of the space and its abstract of the nature are the motto for this building project. The self-leveling floor together with the use of lacquer, glass and mirrors multiply light and reinforce the abstract nature of the intervention.
