new cathay pasific lounge interior design ideas
‘The Cabin’ is the newest addition to the collection Cathay Pacific lounge at Hong Kong International Airport. Combining high quality materials with new seating system designed by Foster Partners, it will change the experience for passengers using Hong Kong’s flag carrier. In accordance with the original design intent Foster Partners’ for the airport, all rooms benefit from views during the day and the air side. Material palette combines marble, leather seats and bamboo, with a ceiling that is very reflective.
On the right side entrance is the ‘IT zone’, easily accessible from the reception area, while to the left is ‘The Deli’, ‘The Health Bar’ and ‘Relaxing Zone’. Spatial linear space accessible from the long red carpet, which runs along the floor to ceiling windows terminal building. Design supports the concept of Cathay Pacific for high-quality lounge that can accommodate both the First and Business Class passengers, while maximizing the available space for relaxation and a range of airline hospitality facilities.
This practice has been designing interiors, and most of the furnishings, including Cathay Solus Chair, manufactured in Italy by Poltrona Frau. Hourglass shape rising from a circular base to create a personal space for individual travelers. Soft leather seats are covered by a shell, solid varnished. Designed to function as part of the cluster cloud-like chair, as well as provide remote room to eat, work or leisure, distinctive curved shape is the result of a study into different ways of living room furniture adapted to the existing. In addition to seating, spacious comfortable chairs and tables to integrate power supply, which can be used as an informal table.
