A remodel house design which is called the California Wine Country Weekend is completed remodeled by the collaboration between the two designer Schneider Design Associates and Jean Larrette Interior Design. This remodeled house is located in St. Helena, California. The architect clients for this home are originally approached SDA for a kitchen remodel and a Master Bedroom addition. The clients decided what they really wanted is a contemporary home which would take full of the advantage of the beautiful site in the middle of a well-known St. Helena winery’s vineyard during the design process. Originally the new living space design is uses most of the original home’s footprint and adds a Master Suite and a Separate Pool House.
The new living space design is takes the advantage of the sweeping vineyard and ridgeline views, then its transform a dated ranch style house into a contemporary weekend retreat. The design connects the interior spaces directly to rooms created in the landscape through the use of two large doors on axis with the Living Room, Dining Room, and pool. The layout allows for effortless transition between inside and outside, perfect for summer living and entertaining.
