Contemporary Architecture Art Museum
This art museum is precisely located at the gateway to the Contemporary International Practical Exhibition of the Architecture, in the lush of the green landscape of the Pearl Spring which is located near Nanjing, China. Which is characterize the deep alternating spatial mysteries of the early Chinese painting, this new museum is explores the shifting the viewpoints, layer of space and expanses of mist and water. A “field” of the parallel perspective spaces and the garden walls in black bamboo-formed concrete over which a light “figure” hovers are formed this contemporary architecture museum. Of the figure itself, the straight passage on the ground level is gradually turn into the windling passage. The upper gallery of this museum, which is suspended in the air and it is unwraps in a clock wise is turning the sequence and culminates at “in-position” viewing of the city of Nanjing in the distance. Through this visual axis to the great Ming Dynasty capital city, Nanjing, the meaning of this rural site is becomes the urban.
In the center of Nanjing, the courtyard is paved on recycled the Old Hutong bricks from the destroyed the courtyard itself. Which is also gives a background to feature the colors and the textures of the artwork and the architecture to be exhibited within, the limiting colors of this museum to black and the white is connecting it to the ancient paintings. With a black penetrating strain, the bamboo, previously growing on the site, has been used in bamboo-formed concrete. This new museum has the geothermal cooling and heating, and recycled storm water.
