Dream Space Dome Architecture Design
A nice gazebo design which is called the Dream Space Dome is completed designed by the New Zealand-based designer David Trubridge. This design actually is an internal ‘break-out’ space for the quiet contemplation, an external gazebo as a garden sanctuary, or a light-weight frame for an attractive shelter, this project has a range of the functions.
But in Milan, we can enjoy this amazing architecture design in the simple design for its beautiful flow of the lines and the pattern, and for the way in which it is focuses energy into its still calm center. For the architect itself, this is the first time for them in which applied to the architecture of the complex building structures with the minimal materials use. The wood materials of this design are only 5mm thick, and the entire set would fit inside a suitcase. But yet it produces a remarkably strong and stable structure, once the pieces are curved and it is under tension. This dome design is assembled entirely on the site; it is to reduce the environmental impact.
The wood which is the main materials for this dome design is thermally modified, plantation-grown pine which has been heated; it is to make it durable the outdoors without the use of the poisonous chemicals. This modified wood has an oiled finishing. The junction of this wood is aluminum plates which is fastened with the rivets. Which can be taken apart for easy transport, the dome construction is built in the six sections. A timber floor which is made from the same materials can also be supplied and a fabric cover is under development.

The details on this project are great. The connection technique is really simple, but fits with the design. Great post.
