The great hotel design which called East Hotel is completed designed by the CL3 Architects. This hotel is located in Hongkong. This hotel project is a business hotel which is located in a residential/commercial neighborhood in Hongkong. It takes a different look at the hotel design by planning from the inside-out. In approximately 4, 5 years ago, the interior design of this hotel was appointed early in the design process, it is to carry out the space which is planning of the rooms and the public areas, consisting of the entrance, lobby reception, all day dining, health club, 339 guestrooms, 6 suites and a rooftop bar, as an integral part of the architecture. It is used as the interior spatial experience rather than ornamentation which is shapes the design. The hotel’s name is resulted from the design concept which is interprets the contemporary Oriental/Hongkong travel experience as being world class, efficient, modern, playful, with a touch of the Chinese culture. To unify all the various outlets and the guest rooms whilst still allowing for the individual design character to emerge, it is achieved by the usement of a consistent and a simple material palette with the two shades of a wood, a light limed elm and a classic walnut, two different stones, rio white and mocha limestone and a black stainless steel as a highlight throughout the entire hotel.
With a 16 foot long window frontage to most guest rooms and north facing, it will be able to maximizing the intake of the daylight and the views, full height glazing to all the public spaces. The interior design elements are helped to determine the window sill heights and window spacing.
The usement of the playful Chinese elements such as: the Chinese character for floor number indication, a backlit Contemporary Chinese landscape painting as the reception backdrop.
The two main features in the lobby which is act as Yin and Yang are used for a serene. Its measure for about 35 foot long and it is back illuminated the reception desk cantilevered from a single column, it is vs a glass grand stair with a labyrinth which is made from wood as a structural support to symbolize the energy of Hongkong.
Efficient the guest room with an open bathroom concept in a 270 square feet room with 128 square foot of the windows exposure. The six suites each is feature one large space for about 560 square foot which is using only one wood veneer and a lime stone floor as the internal finishes. The F&B outlets which are spacious, efficient and relaxing: ‘Feast’, a casual restaurant is provides a variety of the dining ambiance under a 39 foot atrium space. A ‘Sugar’ is a lively bar of the tiered seating which is facing to an open roof deck with stunning panoramic views of Hongkong.
