To consider the relationship between the different requirement programs, the nature work undertaken the Egan’s Coffee Bar and A Roof Terrace were devised for it. But in the same hand, the modest coffee was offering healthy juices beverages to take away and also some food to take whilst seating in it. While another roof terrace and bar was grafted above of it structure. The entire project job had the additional consideration of being a part of a protected structure which in the past it was a barber shop, with the preserved of the front shop faced to the primary street.

Then to made a floating monopolistic roof structure , the strategy was token for done those installation of the new elements, which concrete with a series of vertical and horizontal cast concrete the  walls that set at various levels under it construction. These concrete elements were used as both the structure and the surface, which was also becoming a part of the furniture of the project itself in the nice table in the coffee bar which was the working surface of the coffee bar and the external seating place and the bar counter of the roof terrace. Great!

The roof structure was designed to be floated above the outside or external roof terrace, as a result of it; the support for it was to reduce to a minimum structural construction. With two large slits the roof surface was opened to the sky. So the beautiful sunlight or moonlight were able to enter and affect the terrace, should to know, the terrace was one apart of the bar. It would be nice to have dinner here. The cast concrete wall leading from the ground floor of the coffee bar along to the roof terrace which is secretly jointed to recess a handrail that also functioned as a support for the structure of the roof. They were separated by a series of fine quality column which running the length of the support wall.

The interior design of the roof terrace area was comprised by a cocktail bar for the client who adjoining the night club. The roof structure which located at there was mediate between inside or outside through the layer of a glass door. Look another place inside the bar, focus to the bar ceiling which cutted into a series of folding ribbon of light where they were display as a series of a shards at particular view point inside the bar. The bar surface, the external seat, the floor and the external stairs were all comprised of cast and poured concrete.

The coffee bar area is located below the roof terrace and the bar. The coffee bar is providing a delicious food and beverage like smoothies, juices, bagels, wraps etc. The atmosphere of the external terrace is mirrored inside the interior design of the coffee bar. The handmade oak stools and the bench as well as a blackboard for the menu are the exception to it which black glass of light frame and a series of mirrored surfaces.

Other than the shop-front and the view into the coffee bar, there is little evidence of significant changes to the structure from the Major Street. This was a stipulation by the Planning Authority due to the protected nature of the building. It also meant that the roof structure had to be finely coordinated in order not to breach the ridge level of the existing building. What might be seen as the stealth-like roof structure is in actual fact, hidden by the “stealth” by the existing building framework, as it cloaks it from the everyday view of the passer-by.
