Similar to other typical Chinese restaurants, it has a large hall for the use of groups and VIP rooms for private use. Architects sought to distinguish the two types of space in nature. To partition, opaque white surface is used in a large space and transparent acrylic surface in a small space. Large wavy white surface space on the plane, and form six bands from the ‘fold’ which is the limit for each space. In part, they appear like a six ‘honey-nest’ . Modern classic interior design using more than 1,000 oval-shaped hole has been opened on the surface, and smooth continuity has been established between the two area.
This hole like protrusion on the outer surface of the pot is empty, and enrich the space with an organic expression. Based on such manipulation of space, an auditorium with a ceiling height of 9.2 is the form on the outside, and a VIP room for private use on the inside. The diameter, angle, and the rate varies for each of the six honeycombs. Based on these variations, the hierarchy established in the VIP room size and ceiling height etc. The curtain wall panel made from a half-mirror, when night comes, it reflects the white surface around, and make the scene as if the room is surrounded by a wave of ‘ pleats’. Viewing from, external light rays shoot out of the countless hole from the white surface and makes the whole room to look like a giant organism.
The inside of the white surface divided by two levers, which consists of large rooms and private rooms as well. A spiral staircase through the level, and in the middle, about 25 thousands acrylic ball hanging from the ceiling above 9.2 meters. Drops of water dribbled the ball along the line of acrylic and glitter on the ceiling under strong light. Looks as if a waterfall running down from the ceiling. This waterfall is an eye-catcher from the entrance and attract customers ‘attention’ to the back of the restaurant. Just like a big space, the surface of the transparent cubicle-subtle form wavy lines on the plane and have many openings. Located on the outer side is the entrance hall is light dimed, and the inner side is a large hall. The composition of black granite floors, stain mirror finish less transparent acrylic ceiling and partition, obscures the profile of space inside, so people have a sense of looking at different dimensions while enjoying their food.
