Which is São Paulo, Brazil-based, FJ House is completed by the Studio Guilherme Torres. The client of this living space is a young, single, businessman and a DJ. Which precisely located in the West side of Sao Paulo, this living space is designed near the client company by the architect. It is of course based on the client order who want the living space is built near the company of the client. The living space at the same time grant the new house with all the modernity which is represents the moment of the client life. The property which the architect uses is a typical apartment of the 80’s. It is literally put down and rebuilt from scratch. The partitions which are being the separator at the room are removed. But the toilets and the two bedrooms are kept as is, of course for the structural reason of the living space. Besides the partition, some windows which exist inside the living space are also eliminated. It is to create the concept of a box in which the illumination plus wall and floor coverings will be create a three-dimensional effect, like in a night club.
LEDs is used for designed all the illumination which is featuring no other light source in the whole of the apartment. The illumination presents a great energy saving and it is combined with a high luminous efficiency, besides, it is gives the scenographic effect. The plasterboard which is covered with polymer cement is used to build the walls and the ceiling. The kitchen which is integrated to the living room is occupies the area which is previously designed for the corridor and the lavatory. The architect is designed all the woodwork, the great aspect of the project’s interior design is the “High-low” effect. It is a great insight with the very low cost. For example of it is the DJ table, it is actually an aluminum ladder which is gained a new interpretation. By inspiration in the 70s, the whole furniture line is follows an unassuming style. The Master suite gained a bathtub integrated to the sleeping area, a transgression more than welcome on this contemporary way of living.
