The modern contemporary living space design which is called the Garden House is completed designed by the Brazilian architect David Guerra. This project is a remodel of a 1980’s living space which based in Brazil. With the head office in London, the company director is chooses a hose in the 80’s decade. This house is protected by a big architect; it is to transform it into the residence in Brazil. To make a reconstruction and the interiors project, the office is hired. One of the main wishes is to make the interior/exterior integration is become bigger for making the garden participate in the day-by-day of the house, bringing more light to the rooms which is used to be too dark.
Another urgent point is to make the house for looked more modern, giving new spaces and a new way to use them, so it will compatible with a new lifestyle and a new époque of the new residents. The reconstruction is huge, it is such as integrate the space, destroy the walls, transform the doors window and attach the protection covering, substitute the products, recuperate the structures, new electric, new hydraulic, new illumination, an atelier, a wine cellar, a gourmet kitchen, bathroom, sauna, deck and the last construction is a pool. All the bathrooms, kitchen and the service clear covering is giving an opposite used of the wood in the structures. The use of the demolition wood, ceramic Brennand and a granite capão bonito are only used in the gourmet kitchen. There the sand tone is chosen. It is enhanced by the proximity from the green in the garden. To present the living space always opened for friends is the idea for it construction, so the architect found in the interior design of the intention to do a dialogue for this integrated and cozy spaces. It is providing the lightness, an invitation and meeting, in addition to host the several personal objects, it is got by the owners and loaded with a memory value. The coziness is given by the natural characteristic, neutral and raw tones. To make the spaces bigger, light and fluid, the furniture with the bottom distant from the floor which is goes from the stick feet and the armchairs and an acrylic chairs have the intention for it.
The classics, ethnics, contemporaries pass the mix of the style which is goes from the 50’s; it is incremented with the Brazilian references. In the kitchen, dining, bathrooms and a service area has the function to give the coziness and at the same time, it is light up the house, once the structure, floor and a ceiling are made of wood, covering of the white tile which is used here. The space to big the blindex openings and a new glass coverage appears is given by the superior windows in the wood shutters. it is placed in the middle of the fireplace and bringing the illumination for the house. There is a concern of the illuminating well the rooms which is keeping this coziness atmosphere in the illumination. To create an ambience without the interfering the flow, the balconies and the decks is got bigger. The old bar and the pantry are integrated to the TV room, as soon as the integrated dining, without the walls, to the kitchen and the dining room. The little closets are transformed in the wardrobe, expanding to the bathrooms.
