A comfortable contemporary living space which called the Henle Street Residence is completed designed by the architect Jackson Clements Burrows. This nice living space is based in Barwon Heads, Australia. This place is in a period of the significant change. The heritage overlays currently protect the older fishing shacks, whilst the less significant built fabric remaining in the seaside town is progressively being redeveloped and architecture is now significantly contributing to the evolution of this small coastal township. In this case, a young family is engaged the architect to design their new permanent residence which will replace a dilapidated 1950’s two storey living space which is beyond repair.

From the clients brief which jokingly requested a planetarium as an inclusion, it is emerging a sculptural building form. This led to the exploration of the circular forms and resulted in a circular skylight in the first floor living areas which is used as a direct reference, however this living space is primarily conceived, it is to immerse this living space itself over the time as a natural extension of the Ti-tree dominated landscape. This living space is wrapped in as a skin of the vertical cedar battens which is providing privacy and the solar protection, which is appear, it is to emerge from the front fence intentionally confusing the relationship between built from and the landscape.

The unique thing about this contemporary living space is found in the circular building which is like connects the other side building one each other. The facade of this living space is made from a wooden construction. Inside the living space interior design, there is a tall pillar which support the circular building. This pillar is also used as a fireplace in the living room. The facade is like a unity which connect each part of this house one each other. Nice contemporary living space!
