The Pitzo Kedem Architects in cooperation with Tanju Qzelgin has designed the beautiful house located in Hezelia, Israel . The modern and minimalist house building which is finished by the architect collaboration in 2007-2010 is covers an area foe about 600 square meters. The interior design of this nice living space is designed by Pitzo Kedem Architects .
This living space which is designed by Pitzo Kedem Architects is a modern and minimalistic building design. It is completely eliminates the accepted barrier between and the inside and the outside and hides. Within its restrained spaces, a dramatic atmosphere and the wide open the spaces. By the architect, this house is built as a vacation home for a living abroad family. By precisely located and situated directly on the coast in the center of the country, the architectural design of this dwelling is based on the three central which are surround a large internal courtyard with a swimming pool at the center. The masses of this dwelling itself comprise the border and the barrier between the street, the neighbors and the home’s interior and between the internal courtyard and those same spaces. The dynamic walls are created by the central theme. In one hand the elimination of the boundary between this central courtyard and the internal spaces, while in the other hand, the creation of a changing and the dynamic facade which allows for the total closure of the facade or the different levels of the exposure or concealment.
On the side by facing the pool, the central mass is bounded. It is bounded by a seven meters long aluminum display with no supporting columns. Which is embedded in wall niche, half of the display is divided into six large continuous units, and basically it is a concealed unit. Which is extends along the entire length and between the pool, the encompassing mass has becomes a floating on and the boundary between the kitchen and the long bar. The surrounding deck is cancelled put in its entirety and so creates and opens home with no boundaries. The space where the border is located between the inside and the outside has becomes blurred and, in effect, it is creates a new space which is a cross between n internal and the external space. The richer relationship between the exposed and the concealed is allowed by the side of the sea to the west. The total closure of the facade or the different levels of blurring between the inside and the outside is allowed by a partition which is created from a six equal metal sections and adjustable wooden slats. To play a central role in the living space internal areas and for the creations of the geometrical display of the light against the vertical and the horizontal areas and so enrich the material restraint in which the homes spaces are fashioned, the dynamism of the large accordion doors and the adjustable wooden slats which is allows the natural light that enters through them.
The architectural idea from the architect as the house designer is comes to the fore front in a concrete fashion when all the buildings facades are opened and disappear. The structure, which is looks like a solid and it is sealed structure is suddenly appears to be floating and it is produces a feeling of the lightness and the visibility. With the long moving pictures which is divides and move in between the floating surfaces, the house is appears as if it are built from them. The central motives usually accompany the architect. The reliance on fewer shapes, a reduction in the materials and restrained colors are manifested in this living space project. In order to strengthen the dynamics and the tension between the faultless and the restrained masses and between the feeling of the lightness and openness when all the walls are opened. It is makes this project is special. The two opposite central materials which is used is a solid, strong and restrained material. The example like grey limestone and the black basalt as the opposed to clear and the opaque glass and the other reflective and reflecting materials such as water in a black reflective pool. The dialogue and the relationship between the materials and the meditative qualities, create, within the restrained building’s spaces, a unique and surprisingly dramatic atmosphere.
