Industrial Designer House Side Viewed Staircase Interior Design
A simple minimalist living space design has been finish by the Koji Tsutsui Architect & Associates. This living space project is a quiet residential area in metropolitan Tokyo. The architect client is required them to design a living space which the house is not only private in the nature, but also in coexistence with the client’s feelings for his life work, industrial design. This living space is located in Tokyo, Japan, which is built in 2007, this living space design is covers an area for about 105.39.
During in the development process of putting together the requirements, it become clear which the architect’s client is wished to have an indoor garage for his beloved vehicle, a study with a view to the car, a living/dining space where his treasured industrial products will be displayed, and the last a completely separated guest room and bedroom for sleep. Considering which the act of the thinking about design is part of the client’s daily activities, on the other hand, it is occurred to the architect who the division between designing and living is needed to be as an ambiguous as possible. The architect attempted to divide each room and it is softly connecting the order at the same time, while focusing on the fulfilling the requested functions. With the large opening which is divides the external views and natural light, the living/dining room is used as a core. The ambiances of the sunlight and the landscape are introduced in a smooth and indirect manner; it is along to the rooms which are connected to this core through the internal openings. All the elements of the living space are made into a primitive space which is composed of purely architectural factors such as floor, wall, ceiling, stairs, void and the openings.
The result of that development is an internal space as an abstract substance. Everything is woven together into a landscape which is offers a variety of the sceneries, the valley of walls on the third floor, refreshing expanse in the living/dining room on the second floor and a cave-like study and a garage on the ground floor. Of the softly connected sequences, the steel-frame structure is adopted for an easier expression. The steel sheet which is used on the exterior walls is also serves as window glazing system, it is expressing in an abstract manner to the outside the flow of the space which is set free by this steel frames. Some rooms are suspended while others feature beams with the dynamic skip by taking the advantage of the steel’s lightness and strength, it is in order to realize a senses of the free flow within the entire space. The architect’s client’s feelings toward industrial products and the actual living all meet together, hopefully this living space building will surpass the intents of the moment when such architectural sceneries.
