On this ceiling installation, the designer put the image of the clouds for the ceiling detail. On the image, there is IZUMO shrine. It is one f the most important shrine in Shimane, Japan. This clouds image has beauty, but mysterious image too. The ceiling interior installation designer wanted to show those images on this design. He put for about 25,000 of wooden sticks which are shaped like drum on the restaurant ceiling.

Takeshi Sano calculates the focal length between the eye line and the wooden sticks and uses that length for the stick length in order to increase a reality of clouds image. While to make a stereoscopic effect to the wooden clouds, he made the difference on the distance between those wooden sticks each other.

Not only for this ceiling interior installation design project, the designer always challenging to create a space which coexist art and interior. At the same time, he would like people to feel the delicate of the beauty which Japanese have, and the Japanese atmosphere when they visit here, so that the visitors of this restaurant will think that they want to visit Japan.

“I would like to make this restaurant as one of an element for Japanese reconstruction”, said the ceiling interior designer.
