White and modern, maybe these are the exact words to express the home design which called the House in Kyoto. This home is awesome in white paint, look so clean and elegance I think. As I said before in the previous issue I have posted, I always love the Japanese home design because I am addicted all about Japan, although I am not a Japanese. Well that’s doesn’t matter right? Ok guys check below for more information!

Yesterday I have got interesting information about a Japanese home design, and today I will share it for you guys! This modern living space is called the House in Kyoto, completed constructed by the architect FORM | Kouichi Kimura. As it called, this dwelling is located in Kyoto, Japan. About the measure, the site area covers about 355, 72 square meters while the constructed area is about 213, 20 square meters. By the architect, the project was completed in 2011.

This living space is surrounded by the vistas of the countryside; the dwelling balances both the intimate areas and an open living room. By examine the house design, the centripetal is connected through the corridors which leading to all rooms. The house layout makes it continuous and comfortable.

Inside this Japanese home design, the interplay between the volumes and the voids are intensified by the materials which are carefully chosen by the architect. Varying textures are created by the combination of stone, wood, glass, metal and concrete materials while staying in a neutral color range.

Look about the site, this living space is well planned on a site where there are the beautiful views of the countryside, match with the client’s order; to make creation of intimacy, but with a large living area. The exterior is designed as a monumental form so that it can be seem to be a new addition to the countryside scenery.

As I confirmed before, the architect has created a centripetal plan where each room is connected through a corridor from the multi-level living area. Around the corridor, walls, which have different textures and shapes, make a sequence inside the space. This is very interesting, the walls and the spaces are highlighted by the natural, indirect light, so our eyes are drawn to, and focus on the interior.

The architect seems tried to make the inside space more intimate and deeper by the basic processes of manipulating and controlling the “light” and the “views”. The architect have instead created what they feel is a space which represents the unusual by doing a small and poetic movements which control the light and the viewers eyes, rather than doing large gesture of the acrobatic space composition.

Well guys, overall this home is an impressive design. Individually I love the white color which the architect does. ok guys I think it’s up, I hope this post is useful for you. Have a nice day!
