Luxury home designs called the Queencliff House are completed designed by the Utz Sanby Architects – Duncan Sanby, Ray Fung. This modern luxury home architecture design is located in Queenscliff, Australia, and in this site location, it is covers area for about 210 square meters. This sweet home was progressed in 2006-2010.

Located in Queenscliff, Australia, this sweet home is precisely located on a tight urban site. It is perched on the edge of a cliff 100 meters above the ocean. On the east west, the wedge formed block has a due north-south aspect with the neighboring buildings which is very close to the boundaries.

The privacy and the structural support for the upper level bedroom wing are provided by the large fin walls which divides the separate functions of the entrance and the circulation from the living areas and the garden.

To take the advantage of the geometry of the block, the main living areas of the sweet home are designed, besides, it is to link the garden space with the ocean which widens towards the cliff’s edge. A generous living room with an abundance of the natural light, ventilation, privacy and the spectacular views are created by the careful placement of the natural walls, high-level glazing and roof form.

Through the use of the concrete floors and masonry walls which are located at the ground level, this nice modern house architecture design has been designed to be thermally efficient, it is intended to provide the thermal mass.

Throughout the living areas, the hydronic under-floor heating is used to provide the winter warmth. In the early morning, the dark floor tiles in the living area, it is absorb warmth and reduce glare from the ocean. To allow the natural light and ventilation in all the rooms, the high-level louvers and the ceiling fans are used.

A water supply which used for flushing toilets, watering the garden and washing the toilets is provided by the large sub-floor rainwater with an overall capacity of more than 5000 liters. The living space and the garden are easy to inhabit and perform extremely economically in terms of the energy efficiency and the sustainability. This sweet beach home architecture design which is designed by the Utz Sanby Architects is provides the owners with relaxed and beautiful spaces in which to live, entertain and appreciate the natural world beyond.
