This 3 storey house which covers area for about 3, 670 square foot was constructed in 2009-2010. This luxury homes design building is set into the hill side in a low density suburban neighborhood which is located in Dublin. The spatial hierarchy which is being the guiding principal to establishing an order for the building is informed by the segregation between the private and the public realms.

Which is informed by the geometry and the aspect of the site and its contribution, the luxury homes design building is an investigation of the diagonal relationship of the spaces. It is by layering of the space to security in the public realm. it is a truly urban agenda.

The shape of the luxury homes design is derived from the geometry site and the context site. This thing is placed on a seventy by fifty six foot stone plate which is set below the existing ground level. Over a plate which is the ground floor roof set in a diagonal relationship, a first floor boos spans from east to west.

The structure and the two voids which is allowing the light to penetrate deep into the plan is permeates the box. To reflect the elevation treatment of the neighboring buildings, the attic is set back from the facade, all be it in a modern idiom. To create a private secure domain which is placed on the southern street side of the building on an otherwise under-utilized piece of the suburban ground, the ground floor enclosure extends beyond the building lines to rear and to the front.

By introducing another space between the street and this private domain screened, the passive surveillance is increased, so as to give glimpse of the interior and the private external spaces from without: this will indicates the stranger which there is a possibility of being watched while allowing the sufficient view to the occupant from the interior t give a sense of security.

To provide the spacious accommodation for a growing family, the client approached the architects with a brief. The architect design brief is to subvert the existing typically suburban spatial condition. The architect design intent is to accommodate best practice in lifetime design to promote physical, economic and social sustainability in a resilient built form with a robust spatial hierarchy. This entire thing is to provide for a building of the architecture; quality which is informed by its contexts ad provides a flexible accommodation for the future needs.
