This small house which called Matryoshka House is designed by David Jameson Architect . Which based in Bethesda , Maryland , USA , this house is covers an area for about 3,200 square feet and it finished by the architect in 2007, not to large but it is built in several floors. The house project called Matryoshka House is a small house project which finished constructed in 2007 by David Jameson Architect , Bethesda-based, Maryland . This house project is organized as a series of the volumes which is nested one inside another. A suspended meditation chamber is exists at the core of the volume. The physical and spiritual center of the project is acted by the suspended box. Within an open glowing frame is encapsulated by the internal energy of the meditation chamber. An alternating tread stair is engages the participant itself to deliberately ascend the threshold to the meditation chamber.
The wooden container surround the meditation chamber which is encases the living areas of the house. By the stucco wall, this shell is in turn cradled and serving as a protective layer and grounding the house to the earth. In-between space of the nested volumes is strategically sliced to allow the sun to project lines of light within. The interstitial spaces is allows the light to become an architectural material which is activates the interior, it is achieve by separated the three shells.
The floor inside this house project used the wood as the natural atmosphere environment. From the outside, in the corner of this house is found the wooden wall, it gives the nice performance. This house project yard is surrounded by the grass plant and the high tree which able to give the fresh air to blow inside this house. Inside the bedroom is existed the glass window placed in the corner of the bedroom. In the living room of this house, the client or maybe the guests are able to see the around environment, it because the wall is made from the glass, a clear glass. Almost of the furniture were chosen is made from wood, very nice!
