Looking for an idea to built modern and contemporary building? Then maybe you will interest about this modern building architecture design which is based in Germany. I called this contemporary building as a Media Center Oberkirch. It is a building center for citizens in the local are of Germany.
This Media Center Oberkirch which based in Germany is completed designed by the famous Wurm + Wurm Architects. They have decided this modern building for them self in 2007. It construction was started in November, 2008, and the completion of the building was in February, 2010.
About this design, I really love the interior structure and the cheerful colors which are used in the top level. I think this building is constructed as a ‘three-level building’. Between those levels are connected with an open, organically formed stairwell. You will see an artistic view of interior design when you look it from the top level of the building.
Based on my opinion, the contemporary view comes from the facade of this building itself. The facades come with the large apertures. It is understood like a shop-window which is permit varied and exciting views in the surrounding town space.
The building creates a sensuous experience by the sculptural which is modeled full of contrast. This experience space serves the citizens as a communicative center where to all generations the varied media technologies and technologies of the information are accessible.
So how’s your opinion? An interesting building center right? Loves the contemporary design of the exterior and a nice design inside.
The following units of utilization with a total area of 2100 square meters are in the building.
Media Center (former town library) = 1000 square meters
Event space = 190 square meters
Town archive = 400 square meters
