Spliced Towers Architecture Design
Every day we used to see a modern building such as office, skyscraper, and even tower. In this opportunity I would like to review about a modern building design which is based in China. This building is called the Spliced Towers. Feel curious yet? Then give it a break guys!
Recently I have gathered information about the modern building which is located in China, and eventually I found one. This building is called the Spliced Towers; it is completed design by AQSO Arquitectos. As I said before, this building is located in China, precisely sited in a high density residential complex in Guangyuan, China. This is a marvelous building architecture design!
By the architect, this building was conceived as a strong element in consonance with the surrounding hilly scene. The buildings rise over the landscape becoming a milestone, a sober and expressive landmark. This massing makes it possible to archive the desired plot ratio and increases the green areas on the ground, minimizing the building footprint.
The bock width has been fixed to 12.5 meters in order to optimize the ventilation and the natural illumination of the units; it is improving the quality of the space and establishing a comprehensive structural system for the buildings and the parking which is located in the basement. I guess that the final massing of the master plan takes into account the site conditions and the orientation of the buildings.
The design project combines block of the apartments and towers, it is in order to minimize the number of the cores in the complex and for giving a unique and urban image to the units which is located on the north east side. The orientation of the blocks follows the North – South axe, while the towers follow an orientation based on the views towards the city and the mountains.
The building façade combines a domestic and sober feeling. The block elevation highlights the slabs of the building in order to strength the horizontal appearance. A series of vertical louvers cover the space between the slabs in a random arrangement, giving the users the freedom of controlling the sunlight exposure. As just for additional information, this building is covers are for about 11, 000 square meters!
