Modern Building Design by CEBRA
In this time I would like review about a modern building design which is located in Denmark. To be exact, this modern building design is an Information Portal. From the design, this building is also has a contemporary facade. For the complete information see below!
Recently I have gathered some information about a modern building design which called the Information Portal. This modern building design is completed designed by the CEBRA architect. They have created their new Information Center for Rebild Hills and Rolds Forest, it is a winning competition entry in collaboration with the with HP Byg, Viggo Madsen and exhibition architect Elisabeth Topsøe.
This modern building is precisely situated in the nature reserves of Denmark’s Rebild Hilss and Rold Forest in Northern Jutland. The design project is conceptualized as an open and accommodating the building which is serves as a gathering place to inform, guide and inspire for about 400,000+ visitors who are guided through the forests each year.
The architect have created an information portal which is both building and nature with a distinctive expression and character which is deriving directly from the Nature’s own formal language and elements, which makes the building stand out from its surroundings and blend in with nature’s scenery at one and the same time,” explained CEBRA.
I guess that the building is crafted as a sculptural structure of the raw cut timber, drawing upon the similarities of a forest’s opening and closing when one moves through it and looks upwards though the branches chaotic network of crossing lines. The building’s materiality creates an experience much like a ‘walk in the forest’, complete with the scent of wood and nature, which sets the mood for the visit to the forest and hills.
The architect said that the building’s distinctive characteristic-the ‘graphic’ strength of the timber’s structure and the visual reference to trees and branches are acts as a matrix for logos, communication elements, media, guiding landscape elements etc. This is achieved in order to create an appearance and a guiding concept, which tie landscape, building and user experience together in consecutive story.
Well guys that’s really an impressive building design. Ok I think it is up, have a nice day then!
