Recently I have got the information about residential area proposal called the Skolkovo Innovation Center, or in another word it called the Russian Silicon Valley. This residential area is a high-tech hub which is to be built at Skolkovo near Moscow, Russia. I guess that this building is intended to concrete the international intellectual capital, thereby stimulating the development of break-through the projects and the technologies and do not surprise that this project covers area for about 38.000 square meters, it’s a wow then!
In this building, the modern approach to the residential buildings often creates of the isolation. I think that a person has his or her own apartment and a little garden, while the neighbors are perceived as the competitors. Based on my information, this new residential area, which is including the apartment houses and the townhouse are designed by Arch Group. This modern building is designed for temporary accommodation of the scientific elite shown in the apartment houses while the townhouses feature a multi-layered environment.
About the building, the complex will be built within the limits of the New Ivanovo and Odintsovo townships, near the village of Skolkovo located in the eastern part of Moscow’s Odintsovsky on the Skolkovsky highway, 2 km west of the MKAD Moscow beltway. The Skolkovo project was announced on November 12th, 2009 by Russian President, Dmitry Medvedev.
Now I will talk about the site. These residential clusters are situated in a unique ecological environment. The architectural solution should not only provide comfortable accommodation for the residents but also form a creative environment that encourages people to communicate, exchange experiences, and help in the creative process.
