Yesterday I have looked for a nice home to be reviewed; finally I got one which I think this home will be awesome to be a post content in my web blog. A nice home design which called the House 13. This awesome living space was designed by the Brazilian architect Atria Arquitetos. Yes, like the architect origins country, this modern living space is located in Brasilia, DF, Brazil. Covers area for about 650, this modern home design was completed in 2009.
Based on my observation, this home design which called the House 13 is also mentioned as a “Casa 13”. Designed by Brazilian origins architect Atria Arquitos, this family residence is designed points out the contrast among the simplicity of the shapes and the richness of the spaces and the materials. As well as full integration of the internal social areas, the architectural design approach searches for the privacy to the intimate areas of the living space, a leisure spaces in the outside and the garden itself. Based on the architect design, the building has a steel concrete structure, two stories, and is located in a residential neighborhood in Brasília. The ground floor has differences in level that accommodate the house to the terrain’s natural slope.
When you see the picture image, you will notice that there are two perpendicularly overlaid volumes from the street view. On the home picture too, what seems to be a blind gable which is covered by the wood is actually a panel which is disguises the window’s shutters. By see the house forward area, I can feel the impression that the upper volume floats in the air. It is given by the metallic front gate which located in a backward plan.
The side facade of the house is composed by a big blind gable which directs the pedestrian regard to the backyard, and the closure of the living room in glazed panels. From the back, the wooden floor continues up to the wall playing the role of bringing to the floor the volume that floats over the glazing.
Among the intimae spaces, social spaces and the service spaces the internal spaces of the house are divided. Those spaces are organized in a simple and functional way, and also in a peripheral distribution. It is in order to liberate the core of the living space to the double-height entrance hall. Intimate spaces are on the first floor (bedrooms and bathrooms); social and service spaces are on the ground floor (living room, dining room, office, kitchen, laundry, and garage). The main access is through the side of the house, by an enormous wooden pivoting door that leads to the core of the house, a double height space naturally lightened by a pergola with glazed roof. This space stands out for its monumentality and for the contrast of rough materials (cement floor) and noble materials (travertine marble panel).
Overall design of the house is carefully and well planned by the architect. It makes this family house look so modern and awesome. Well guys, that’s all I have got, hope you enjoy it. Have a nice day then!
