Hi guys! Lately I had talk too much about home and building architecture design, now in this perfect time I would like to try share information about a modern hotel design which located in Portugal. You will love the architecture designed in the first time when you see the picture which I had inserted below! So have nice reading guys!

Yesterday I have finished observated a modern hotel design which called the Yellow Hotel. This modern hotel was designed by the PLAN Associated Architects. It is located in Meia Praia, Lagos, Algarve, Portugal. This five-star hotel is covers area for about 22.298, 28 square meters. I also got the information that this hotel is owned by the client called the Iberotel Group.

This hotel is the third project for the Iberotel Group. The architect seems like to always open to the challenges in designing the hotel architecture design. They took on a beautifully located site in front of the sand dunes of Meia Praia Beach with a quite complex topography; it is where the client’s dream is to build a five star hotel which is overlooking the magnificent sea views.

During the construction of the hotel, the big challenge is to maximize the construction area,  complying with the multitude of legal planning restrictions defined for this particular area , it is where the maximum building height allowed no more than three storeys plus basement, without compromising important aspects of the building such as aesthetics, functionality and sustainability, among others.

About the hotel architecture itself, the balance between each of these points and the aim for the innovation is resulted in a solution which is comprised of a main horseshoe shape of “U” shape distribution, molded according to the natural topography, where a large central courtyard opens on to the sea and every single bedroom and suite benefits also of these views.

Combining the simple lines and shapes and materials such as wood, rendering and glass panels on each terrace which incorporate RGB lighting, color, contrast and light, with a contemporary architectural language, it is a key factor in this project. From dusk to dawn the colors of the panels shine to create different moods and reactions, transforming the hotel in to a landmark which can be easily identified from miles away.
