private home architecture design by Rui Grazina
Hi guys! Today I would like to review about a private house architecture design which was designed by the Rui Grazina architect. It is called ‘private’ because this living space is located in non-urban area, so the feeling of privacy can be achieved as a private home design. Well guys if you feel curious yet about this home design, check below!
Completed designed by the architect Rui Grazina, this private home design is located in Cambess, Barcelos, Portugal. Covers area for about 300 square meters for total area, 290 square meters for gross building area, and 3300 square meters for total plot area, this private living space is 2008-2011 project architecture.
This site is located in a green protection area. The house footprint is designed based on the articulation between the existing alignments and the new proposed access road, which is enables both car and foot access.
Considering this is where the most interesting visual points are, and to make rooms face south due to the quality of sun exposure, privacy and relationship with the existing topography given to the context, the architect objective is to turn the living spaces to east. On this side of the building the existing ground level is higher, enabling a connection and continuity between interior and exterior.
It can be said that the social areas are at the ground level on the overall, and the private areas on the upper level. This home project was started November 2008 and it was finished in 2011. The project was executed by Braga based company Engiaço that specializes on light steel frame system construction. The house has two storeys on the eastern side, and just one on the western side, due to the steep topography of the site.
This means that on the western side there is a relevant part of the structure buried. By the use of a load bearing concrete frame, this is achieved structurally, it is enabling the creation of the underground parking space. The access entry slot is also framed by two concrete walls that enable the transition between the entry level on the site and the actual first floor level.
Well guys, who do not want to own a private house? Everybody wants it, right? Then plan it if you decided to build your own beautiful and comfortable private house. Ok guys I hope this little information is useful for you. Have a nice day!
