Residence architecture design is completed designed by the architect Balance Associates. This residence which called the Cortes Island Residence is precisely located in British Columbia, Canada.

This nature blended residence which designed by the Balance Associates architect is precisely located on Cortes Island, British Columbia. This residence is sited on a granite cliff face which serves as a wind break for Cortes Bay and the Seattle and Vancouver yacht clubs. To the south sector, this living space is exposed to the Straight of Georgia which delivers 100mph plus wind and salt spray during the winter storms. The living space structure is embedded into the bedrock with a cross steel columns and the exposed beams to wishand the winds, it is allowing the living space to cantilever gracefully off the hillside.

Residence Architecture Design

A visually solid concrete forms which create the entry space and anchor the living space to the site is made up by the entry side of the living space sits level with the bedrock. The one accesses the central great room which is includes the living, dining and kitchen, all with the expansive views to the straight beyond from the entry side of this residence project. By way of a grand 11 foot tall by 24 foot wide custom sliding door, the gathering space of the residence is opens up to a south facing exterior deck. By a guest suite and study to the west and a master suite which is captures the morning sunlight from the east, this residence’s great room is flanked.

Form the upper deck of this residence, the owner can enjoy a magnificent panoramic. It’s good for relaxing or just spends much time here. This panoramic views is also able viewed from bedroom which is completed by many windows, this windows is also functioned as a natural lighting access.
