This living space is carefully sited amidst the existing trees and the existing land form which slopes up to the bank and view. The connections to the outdoors and other features of the property informed the arrangement of the space and form. The angle of the living wing is corresponds to the bank, they are creating an embraced outdoor deck area. This residence is reaches out to the southeast path way to the shore, to the gardens further to the east and most importantly to the west and northwest views of the water.
Residence Design Structure
This residence structure is comprises the primary living space completed with an isolated upper level master and the studio which the living space his and hers art spaces. Through an arcade which also serves as the main approach to the residence, the studio is connected to the living space. An Asian decoration is also influence the interior decoration of the living space, especially in the entry side, including a Tibetan prayer wheel in a special niche.
The living space shape design is simple; it is derived from the site relationships and the desire to maximize the daylight. The residence materials which are chosen by the architect are honest and enlivening-hard against soft, warm against cool. This residence is created for the modern island dwelling. This residence is used a natural material inside as the warm atmosphere provider. Very comfortable inside and this dwelling is likely weekend retreat place for the family.
