The Hotchkiss Residence which is based in Vancouver, Washington have completed designed by the Scott Edwards Architecture. The living space project is designed by Rick Berry of Scott Edward Architecture which is rest on the banks of the Columbia River in Vancouver, Washington. The living space is exemplifies a northwest contemporary vernacular in its 2,000 square feet. This one level living space is built for a retired couple is place on the site to maximize the southern view to the river.
A dynamic outdoor living room is created by a large overhang and it is creates enough overhang to shield the harsh rays of the sun from penetrating the interior of the home. The radiant floor heating, it is exposed the wood structure and the walnut cabinetry which is creates a contemporary, yet a warm dwelling.
