A nice living space design which called a Sea Ranch Residence is built in Sea Ranch, California by the architect Turnbull Griffin Haesloop. This site for this small Sea Ranch living space design is edged with a mature evergreen trees and it is opens to a meadow with the views is out to the Pacific Ocean. A natural accent is felt here; it is because the nature element which is surrounds this living space. The architect’s client want an understated, flowing the house which is captured their love of the Japanese simplicity.
The architect strategy as the solution for this order is starts with a vernacular barn form and carves away to shape an exterior octagonal deck which is opens to the meadow and the view. A continuous band of the windows and the doors is follows the outline of the cutout to capture the panoramic views. The cedar ceilings and the sheetrock walls is creates a clean minimalist interior, and the window wall is features the exposed wood framing and structural steel.
The wood elements is almost covers the entire house structure. This element is adding a natural atmosphere inside the living space. This residence is suitable as the vacation house; spend much time here after doing the tire daily activities all day long. The fresh environment air can felt here, the surrounds green environment help you to feel calm. Good job for the architect!
