It is called the SPLIT House because this living space is splitted in plan and section. A flood of the light to the center is allowed by the parti of the house. This living space architecture design is designed as a space for the spectacle. The owners of this living space are regular hosts of their large network of the friends and the family, and they wanted a place which could feel grand.
The architect strategy is to make a living space which also feels intimate for when they are on their own. Which is connects with the ipe deck outside, a rich brown wood floor is serves as a counterpoint to the high ceilings of the main space. It is also connects the inside to the outside. Throughout the ground floor it is make for a house which is equally good for two as it is for 30, this, in combination with the design of the smaller more intimate spaces and moments.
The views of the sky and the neighborhood are can be achieve from the interior of the living space. Here a strong connection to the landscape and pool out back too. A warm exterior of the living space material palette is appear because the use of a buff colored brick and ipe siding.
