Sriash Residence designed by the K. Senthil Nathan Architect. Which based in HSR layout, Bengaluru, India, it covers an area for about 370 square meters. This pure urban house is built in 2007 by the architect. For more complete information about this building, check the simple paragraph below!

The modest entry of this pure urban house is welcomes the guests to the one and half height volume of the guest living space and it is leads to five steps level of the family living, the kitchen and the dining space. The embryo of the house itself is the staircase of its. The hoe theater is founded by doing the ten steps from the family living level, and from this mid level, the study space and the children bedroom is appears by climb it again. The family living can be viewed from this area. Which opens to the urban court, the formal living space at the ground level is exists. Which means that the setback and the compound of the walls can be modulated into the courtyard. The privacy from the road is created by the urban court, and the same compound wall becomes the water fall wall from the inner of this house project.

To the green court, the double volume family living space is opens, which are more personnel for the members of the family. At the same way, the dining space is opens to the mural wall. The melting point of the interior and the exterior space of this house is the eight feet ht. Sliding doors. Another place which is opens to the court is the master bedroom inside this living space. The children bedroom is opens to the terrace of the first floor. The terrace itself is being faced to the north east side is becomes the shade place in the evening for play, chitchat and party. The materials were the architect choose is the best material, such as the stone, exposed concrete, wood. The materials were chosen is more pure in modern and elegant living. Modern is not meant contemporary or lifestyle, but timeless. From the monastic caves and the simple living, the aesthetic is comes.

The thick composite of stone and the brick in the technical function aspect is bringing the inside climate of the house for more compatible through out of the years. The lung of the house is acted by the green court. The eight feet ht. sliding doors in living space opens for northern light. The structure with the invisible beams is made by the thick flat slab. The state of the art of the home theatre is finished with the acoustic proof and the controlled light into the space. Within the inner wall or ducts, all of the service pipelines are merged. The service pipelines are becomes the veins of the house. The solar power to utilize the natural energy resource is connecting the exterior light. Separate rain water sump collects all roof level rain waters which are used for gardening. By placing every single space/ openings/ materials under the meticulous planning and the execution, the sustainable living of the house is been achieved. The organic nature of Tree is vital concept in residential architecture. Every space should grow and become part of people and vice verse.
