From the first, this home building is used as a residential space in the past. Then the owner itself is orders that the floor plant can be changed completely separate the living and the office sections, how it is possible? Absolutely this order rendered impossible, it’s due to the original structure which being of the box frame type reinforce the concrete construction, with almost the entire wall are acting as supporting building frames, then how to solve the building challenge?
The strategy is adding the two bookshelves which in each of them are completed with the large door. It is allowed the architect itself to create the space with the ability to transform from home to the office or transform to the office to home, while leaving the original floor plan intact.
In the office meeting room, the first bookshelves are placed there. The act is by moving the large door, so the meeting space can be divided in the two spaces. The space on the other side of the bookshelves is becomes a library and the meeting space. Great idea! A passage is created when the bookshelves is open, making it possible to approach the shelf itself from the office, without passing through the bedroom. When the door is opened, it creates the partition between the bedroom and study, and also it has the effect of changing the space to library.
What a great idea! In the Japan which is generally has the narrow space in each home, that’s idea is the best solution to rearrange the space for work or something. So you just do not to worry for have the narrow space, whatever you intended for.
