The Albert Reichmuth Wine Store consultation and seminar area interior design
The OOS firm is based in Swiss. This firm has designed the beautiful interior of a building which is used as a wine store in Zurich. This wine store itself is named Albert Reichmuth wine store, which always considered to be an insider’s secret between the wine lovers in the past. Now this wine store is opening the first showroom accessible to the public at Feldstrasse 62 which is located in Zurich. “LA GALERIE DU VIN”, is sales as well as a wine tasting and a seminar venue and aims to appeal to regular customers and passers-by alike. The store values and its traditions is reflected by the spatial layout and the staging which is done by OOS firm as the interior designer for this wine store, besides, those of it is let the wine bottle speak for themselves! Great!
Present an image of a landscape which consisting of the wine cases in high- quality wines are presented together with their case as in a gallery of the museum, that is the purpose of the interior design which is has planned before by the designer. Approximately 1,500 unbranded wine cases from the Bordeaux region are covering all of the room up to the ceiling. This interior is creating an environment which is like a cave. Simultaneously, the wooden cases are an architectural element and a part of the furniture. The wooden cases are arranged in a grid pattern. They serve as a platform for about 570 wine bottles, books, seating areas and illuminated table display cabinet.
Generally, the French wines are classified into various geographical regions and it is grouping to one each other, which is conceal the specific histories, cultures and the landscapes. Inside this wine store you can found the reception desk which is located in the middle of the room. This receptionist desk is also equipped and used for wine consultation. With its colored in violet and ruby, it is create quite contrast to the wood of the wine cases. The lights (Sommerlatte & Sommerlatte) on the ceiling are formally illuminates the wine bottles and it is integrate themselves into the presentation of the bottles.
Beside the receptionist counter, this wine store is also has the sitting room which is completed with a small kitchen. This sitting room is located across from the sales venue’s showroom. This place is used for the wine store’s reception room that has the function as a place that used for wine tasting and seminars which can accommodate for up to 15 peoples. The spatial layout is continues here. It is allows the cave-like wine case landscape to slowly taper off. In the inner courtyard is placed the wine collection depot. It is also received a facelift. The building is light-colored facade and new lettering on its wall.
The wine collection depot in the inner courtyard has also received a facelift. With a light-colored façade and new lettering on the walls, the building blends into the inner courtyard and incorporates the existing design elements of the Albert Reichmuth wine store’s corporate design. The Caspar, Poltéra advertising agency is responsible for the naming and signage design.
