The Cluny House Small Sink Design
Again from Guz Architects, a great living space project from this talented designer, a Cluny House which is based in Singapore. This living space project is demonstrates how the technology, planning and design can be applied sensitively, it is to generate a comfortable, luxurious, yet sustainable family home. To reduce the energy usage, photovoltaic cells and the solar water are employed together with the design for passive cooling and cross ventilation. The irrigation tanks and roof gardens functioned to collect and recycle rainwater, the warmth without compromising the finite resource of the environment is added by the use of the materials such as recycled teak and the artificial timber.
The living space project is laid out around a central water court, it is forms the focal point of the project. The lushly planted roof gardens which are surround this and add to the effect that nature is evident in every part of this project. Although the house is high tech, it is using the state of the art EIB systems, photovoltaic cells, security systems, all of these are integrated discreetly, and it is work with the natural environment of the house rather than against it. The special mention in a compelling design which can realistically become the model for the sustainable living is deserved by the integration of the technology and the nature.
This living space by the architect is designed to blends with the green nature. Almost in every corner of this house is planted the greenery, we cannot imagine how we breathe the fresh air there, and it is sound great. To add the natural atmosphere, the architect uses the elements such as concrete, wood and stone. In the center of the building, the garden pool is appears, this add a natural atmosphere, it is because this pool is also full of the greenery. Many stone pillars are constructing here, the one is placed in the swimming pool, and this one is functioned to support the building. This natural and sophisticated living space is more likely a villa which is used as a family refreshing place. Two thumbs for the genius architect!
