The Lance Armstrong Foundation Offices Front Architecture Design
The new office design for the Lance Armstrong Foundation which is based in Austin, Texas is completed designed by the Lake Flato Architects. The Lance Armstrong Foundation found its permanent home in 1950s Gulf Coast Paper Co. Warehouse in East Austin, an undeserved community in the process of revitalization after 10 years of leasing space in a corporate office building. The design is breathes the new life and the energy into both the building and the neighborhood.
By the architect, the renovated facility is provides the office space, meeting rooms, dining facilities, an in-house gymnasium, open-air courtyard and the parking for the 62 office staffs. To provide the direct services to uninsured and under insured East Austin residents, the future plans may call for adding a community-based cancer-support program. It is achieved the LEED Gold certification.
