An amazing paper craft exhibition is exhibits by the molo design, a collaborative design and production studio from Vancouver, Canada. They have setup their exhibit for this year’s design week in Milan at Superstudio Piú in Zona Tortona. A “grotta di carta”, it’s a series of the natural brown paper blocks which have been constructed from the stacked columns of the flexible paper blocks. The mobile-like clusters of luminous paper clouds are suspended overhead. Which is hung over from a single point, the new mobile structure is allows a broad canopy of the cloud forms. It is to provide a light and a sense of the intimate enclosure. The architect also showing the urchin soft light with a new LED armature which will be available in the coming months.
Besides, they also have made the “heart lantern for Japan”. The numbered, this limited edition lantern is $150 USD (110 €) with the full proceeds is being donated to the Architecture for Humanity’s relief efforts in Japan. The molo’s cappello lamp was installed yesterday at the Studio Museum Achille Castoglioni. molo’s float glassware used in the film TRON: Legacy is part of the TRON Designs Corian® exhibition.
