Theresia Bastion building which has a cave-like facade
Hi guys! First I would like to say thanks for visit my web, today I would like to review an issue about a building architecture design which is located in Romania. This building is called the Theresia Bastion. This is a large building architecture design. Ok guys, for more completed information check below!
Two days ago I have collected issue of the building architecture design, and then after looked for a minute; I got an issue which interest me. As I mentioned above, this building architecture design is called the Theresia Bastion, completed designed by the ARCHAEUS architect. This impressive building is located in Timisoara, Romania. Projected by the architect in 2010, it is a ‘wow’ that this building is covers area for about 13, 000 square meters.
Just as an information, this building is a winning of the national contest for the rehabilitation of the Theresia Bastion. The name Theresia Bastion itself is the first of the nine Vauban Bastions which was formed the defense system of Timisoara, it was built in 1738. This building is a Class a Monument according to the National List of Monument in Romania, it is represented a both difficult and extraordinary professional experience.
I can guess that the main concept theme for this building is catered on reintegrating and defining a new urban pole, it is achieved by applying creativity on the public space, an area in which too little has been invested in the past twenty years in Romania.
This building profoundly changed in the past years due to the development of the city in the central area, part of a structure from the 18th century concerning the image or the volume which brought around new functions (it is used as a bank headquarter, the seat of the Chamber of the Architects Timis, the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, the Medicine Faculty).
In designing the building itself, the architect chose the materials which age nicely, in an easy contrast with the historical surface such as cooper sheets, wooden carpentry with the non-ferrous metallic inserts, plasters and paints which is based on lime, as well as the metal structures easy to eliminate. The building floors are installed on sand by using the historical technologies. As a support for the whole monuments, the architect used a limestone which hides the spaces in the courtyard, it is increases the potential thorough the contrast and reinvenments unused places.
Well guys, this is great building architecture design. I think it is enough for me to being a talk active man. Ok guys, have a nice day!
