Villa architecture design is completed designed by the architect SAOTA and Antoni Associates, SAOTA is a nickname from Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects. They have completed designed a villa called the Dakar Sow house which located in Dakar, Senegal.
This modern villa design called the Dakar Sow house which completed designed by the collaboration architect between SAOTA and Antoni Associates is precisely located on a Cliffside overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
This modern villa was completed designed in 2011 by SAOTA, while the interior design was handled by Antoni Associates. This house was designed based for the architect’s client, a Senegalese businessman and his family.
The Villa Sow house maximizes its commanding position to create a house which is not only dramatic, but also with the incorporation of the historical elements quite magical and mysterious. This living space is built on the site of an old World War Two bunker and on the edge of a cliff.
The part of the old bunker has been retained and a portion of it now houses an underground cinema which is opens up into a water courtyard which runs along the boundary, it is creating a water feature at the gateway to the property.
This thing is connected back to the house via a timber paneled walkway which is leading to a spiral staircase which is runs from the lower ground through to the first floors and second floor levels of the villa.
Villa Architecture Design Interior
Inside this villa design, the ground floor of the house was designed to facilitate seamless indoor ad the outdoor living and the entertainment. This arranged in an L shape around the pool. The pool terrace and the garden. The formal Living and Dining spaces cantilever over the cliff and hang over the Atlantic Ocean, enjoying the panoramic sea views as well as views back to the villa house.
Along the east west axis and along the northern side of the boundary run the kitchen which is made up of a so called ‘American’ or open kitchen and a separate traditional kitchen as well as the garage and the staff facilities.
The sculptural circular stair to the entertainment room and the double volume family lounge which connects up with a floating stair to the upper level Pyjama Lounge is moved past from the entrance one. The Main and the two children’s bedrooms are placed on this upper level.
